Human Capital Management
Our staff have demonstrated experience with Civilian and Military Personnel Support
(evaluations, awards, promotions, leave, assignments, in/out processing, nominative
position management, military strength management, record updates/changes and
military training) for both reoccurring mandatory training and professional military
education and military readiness.
In addition, we have supported policy and administration of departmental workplace
diversity, equal opportunity and disability programs for the Department of Defense.
We have developed staffing and resourcing models based on beneficiary demand and
productivity using modified civilian standards for the Veterans Health Administration
and the U.S. Air Force Medical Service.
Administrative and Executive Support
Our administrative and executive assistance includes preparing official correspondence
and required forms, using government approved software to prepare and disseminate

Our graphics have garnered multiple awards over the years to include the prestigious
Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Bronze Anvil. Our designers are skilled
in the use of graphics and multimedia software to tell a story – or support the one
already onscreen. Whether that’s a simple but poignant mobile phone video execution
or a full professional stage, camera, and lights set-up in our Washington, D.C. area
studios, the Knowesis team blends the multiple mediums of graphics, motion animation,
sound design, and video to bring strategic and narrative content to life.
Success requires a tailored suite of processes that drive and measure programs against timelines, milestones, and budget goals in line with expectations for every Federal program. These processes enable leaders to monitor program execution and financial metrics to ensure alignment with effective financial management practices. Our financial managers are adept at applying hypothesis-based inductive analyses to support research and other activities. Our financial managers hold relevant certifications including DoD Financial Certification Level III, Certified Defense Financial Manager, and Acquisition certifications. Our financial experts are also keenly aware of departmental/agency policies and procedures for performing financial and budgetary analysis; often residing in the same department throughout their careers.
Conference and Meeting Logistics
Knowesis has implemented our meeting and governance support approach for a broad range of meetings, events, and conferences for multiple client agencies. Our administrative professionals assist with meeting planning, logistics, space, and equipment set-up, and facilitating group discussions. By following our thorough meeting experts’ checklist, which includes a planning timeline leading up to the day of the event and any follow-on activities as necessary, we ensure all details are addressed.
We diligently track, maintain, and develop staff meeting agendas, minutes, due-outs, and after-action reports to effectively coordinate and synchronize resourcing needs, deadlines, and approvals. We provide recommendations to shape the meetings and events for maximum impact. This includes incorporating client feedback in developing objectives, agendas, time-flow, and providing support for any logistics or resource needs in advance of the meeting or event.
