For example, assessment of sports medicine data led to new policies regarding injury rehabilitation in the Ranger Assessment and Selection program. Research into wearable technology, such as the Oura Ring and Whoop Heart Rate monitors, influenced purchase and implementation programs with the active Ranger population. Revamping of the phalanx rehabilitation program resulted in a novel physical assessment procedure using force plate technology.
